Niceguys: Pursuit of Happyness

After class i logged on to facebook to find that i was tagged in a note by my good friend Mr. Easy Yves Saint of the Niceguys regarding his current status in LA with his music career and i have to say.. that what was said in the note was frustrating.... not because of HIM, but because of what he went through...   And its time to speak out and do something about it.  this is what he wrote

As you all may or may not know, I left to California to pursue a career in music. I was offered many things and met a lot of people. Famous people, beautiful people, important people, so on and so forth. A free apartment on the beach, cars, free phone, no expenses and a chance to really make a name for myself.
Oh, but everything that glitters isn't gold, and for whatever the reason may be, it does not mean that i have the right to feel sorry for myself and/or accept defeat. What i am saying is, luckily through the help of my manager, Brawnz, my friend and DJ, Candlestick, and a solid product I had the confidence and support to walk away from a poisonous situation.
I had a seemingly wealthy individual paying for ALL of my expenses, BUT neglecting to move the music forward and that is ALL I REALLY CARED ABOUT. This individual basically disappeared for one reason or another. Maybe it was a money issue, a legal issue, or his life was in danger. Either way it left Universal records with a VERY bad taste in their mouth for that individual and for me.
Luckily for me, I have a supportive girlfriend that did just that, supported me. I am not in ANY trouble. I have not been deterred at all in my endeavors. I was reminded by Anais that, "sometimes things fall apart so better things can fall together." Amen to that. I will be releasing two NEW mixtapes and re-releasing two old mixtapes that most of you have probably never heard. Yeah it is painful to do ALL of this with MY money. It's expensive to produce a professional product but it will all be worth it in the end.
I apologize for any of you who are generally concerned for me and haven't been getting the response from you that you may very well deserve. I am in a rebuilding process right now and have learned that I need a team and that I can't and should not try to do EVERYTHING myself.
To my niggas...265, Niceguys, the youngins in 269 and 238, Magic Mike, Sean Will, IGNUT boys, Squares, and if i left someody out sorry, I'll be ight. I always am.
Yes, I am still a beast and yes, I can do anything with any beat on any day, but that isn't what this business is REALLY about. It sounds cliche but it really IS ALL POLITICS, NETWORKING, AND MAKING PEOPLE YOU DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT FEEL LIKE YOU MIGHT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THEM. I'm not trying to be cynical, but it is what it is.
You all will definitely enjoy the new material as well as the old material you haven't heard and get the same high quality standard you have come to love, respect, expect, and most importantly, ENJOY.
Now if yall muthafuckas got any questions, comments or ideas hit a nigga on facebook for now and that Cali number is dead in the water. I'm turning the 718 joint back on to those who know what im talking about.

***Another thing, weed is legal out here. You can ACTUALLY BUY A PRESCRIPTION WEED CARD!

EASY. one.

so the bottom line is this... The niceguys, (Free, Yves, Dj Candlestick, Christolph, D, Sean) are about to force talent down you're throats... and as long as i have the ability to do it... My personal opinion is that the industry is saturated with too many people that just look good..... and many of you are eating it up... So don't blame an artist for the demise of hip hop when you're the consumer...  If you listen to trash, you're gonna GET trash in return... It didnt have to end up this way.... but you leave no choice to the creators of this movement.  Make sure you read carefully... you decide what it is that you want... If you're not feeling niceguys music then you may as well get off of my blog because it is about to be FLOODED in the future.... its time to take this game over..... Warning: a lot of people will be hurt during this process.... so you better brace yourselves with that being said go download the mixtapes here

Set to be re-released are:
"NiceGuys Finish Last"
"EYS is the Good Shepherd"
